I keep seeing that the IAC steps need to be set between 6 and 10 for it to run properly. After it is warmed up I can get the idle set at 850 and the IAC around 8 or 10. WebOct 7, 2024 · For me it was easier to remove the Fitech and perform this on the workbench. The screws in mine took a #20 torx bit. I used a 1/4" drive ratchet with an extension and a long socket to hold the bit. Two 1/4 turns to loosen each screw, adjust the plates, then two 1/4 turns to re-tighten plus a little more to be sure.
